Consultancy Projects:

In 2011, she served as the Course Developer for LHA 321/05 “Appreciation of Western Classical Music” at Wawasan Open University, taking on the role of Project Leader. With her expertise, she played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the course, contributing to the academic offerings of the university. Additionally, in 2022, she took on the role of Project Member for UHSB/B-AM2022/029, specifically contributing to the coordination and execution of the 18th Mini Film Festival x Mini Arts Festival held from July 14 to 17, 2022. Her active involvement in these consultancy projects showcases her dedication and valuable contributions to both educational curriculum development and cultural events.

Industrial Linkages/ Community Services:

In 2014, she played a key role as the developer of the “National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS)” for Musical Instrument Manufacturing, focusing on levels 1, 2, and 3 in Phase 1-3. Her expertise also extended to serving as a NOSS Assessor for Traditional Music at levels 4-5 on July 19, 2014. Demonstrating her commitment to the promotion of cultural heritage, she participated as a panelist at the Sape Symposium at Sarawak Cultural Village in August 2015 and delivered a public talk on the “Evolution of Sape” in Kuching, Sarawak, the same year. Additionally, she conducted a lecture demonstration titled “OUT OF PIECE OF WOOD: An in-depth look at the famous Sape, boat lute of Sarawak – and how it has evolved from the traditional to the contemporary” at the Rainforest World Music Festival in August 2015.

Her active engagement continued as a speaker for Sape Talk at the World Harvest Festival 2017 and an elected Vice President for Friends of Sarawak Museum from April 1, 2017, to March 31, 2019. In these roles, she contributed significantly to the documentation, preservation, and dissemination of Sarawak’s rich musical heritage and cultural traditions.
