Education:

She commenced her academic journey in 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, Tianjin. Building upon her foundational knowledge, she pursued a Master of Arts in Environmental Architecture at the Royal College of Art, London, graduating in 2019. Motivated by her passion for the intersection of design and sustainability, she embarked on a Ph.D. candidacy in Architecture at The University of Hong Kong in 2021. Throughout her educational trajectory, she has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to exploring innovative approaches to environmental challenges within architectural contexts. Her academic pursuits reflect a deep-seated curiosity and dedication to advancing knowledge in the field, evident in her research endeavors and scholarly contributions. From conceptualizing sustainable architectural solutions to critically engaging with the complexities of urban environments, she continuously seeks to push the boundaries of conventional design practices. With a keen eye for detail and a holistic understanding of environmental principles, she aspires to make meaningful contributions to the discourse surrounding sustainable architecture and urban development.

Experience:

She has been actively engaged in academic roles at both The University of Hong Kong and the Royal College of Art. At The University of Hong Kong, she currently serves as a Teaching Assistant and RPg Student Representative since September 2021. Her responsibilities include tutoring, facilitating research seminars, and guest lecturing on topics such as architecture, film, and spatial implications of women’s labor. She has also contributed as a facilitator for the RPg Degree Show and as a teaching assistant for courses focusing on Hong Kong architecture and urbanism. Additionally, her involvement with the Royal College of Art in London, United Kingdom, as a Visiting Lecturer from March 2021 to August 2021, demonstrates her commitment to academic excellence. During her tenure, she served as a tutor and reviewer for the Orang-orang & the Hutan Studio within the Environmental Architecture Programme. Under the guidance of Dr. Godofredo Enes Pereira and Christina Leigh Geros, she provided valuable insights and mentorship to students, contributing to the program’s success. Through her dedication and expertise, she has made significant contributions to the academic communities at both institutions, enriching the learning experiences of students and fostering a culture of excellence in architectural education.

Honors and Awards:

She is currently serving as a Teaching Assistant and RPg Student Representative at The University of Hong Kong since September 2021. In addition to her academic roles, she has garnered several prestigious awards in the field of architecture and design. In 2020, her architectural film “ONE DAY” was exhibited at the Art and Design Education: FutureLab 2020 event. In 2019, she achieved the FIRST PRIZE as part of a student group in the 3rd National Youth Cup National College Art Design Competition and received the SILVER AWARD at the 16th National Annual Conference of Architecture and Design Teaching. Further, she was honored with the ZIJIN AWARD, Third Prize of China (Nanjing) College Students Design Exhibition, and was recognized as a FINALIST AWARD recipient in the Urban Design Category of the Chinese Habitat Environment Design Academic Year Award 2019. Her talent was also acknowledged with the TWILIGHT PRIZE in the “Aladdin Magic Lamp” Lamp Design Competition in 2018. In 2017, she received the EXCELLENCE AWARD at the Tianjin Keler Road Jinyue Lake Interior Design Competition and secured the SECOND PRIZE at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Furthermore, she clinched the THIRD PRIZE in the “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Hebei District, Tianjin, in 2016. Through her dedication and achievements, she demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence in academia and creative endeavors in architecture and design.
