She is currently engaged in a Postdoctoral position in Mathematics at the Institute for Geometry and Practical Mathematics, RWTH Aachen University, Germany, a role she has held since November 2023. Alongside her postdoc, she actively contributes to the field of education as a Teaching Assistant for the course Advanced Engineering Mathematics at NPTEL. Her dedication to teaching extends to previous roles where she served as a Teaching Assistant for various courses, including Statistical Methods in the academic year 2022-2023 and Linear Algebra, Numerical, and Complex Analysis in the academic year 2021-2022. Through her dual commitment to research and education, she aims to make meaningful contributions to both academia and the wider mathematical community.

She is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Mathematics at the Institute for Geometry and Practical Mathematics at RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, Germany, a position she has held since November 2023. Her current research focuses on the project titled “Mathematical analysis of domain decomposition methods for the efficient solution of continuum solvation models,” under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Arnold Reusken and Prof. Dr. Benjamin Stamm. Prior to her postdoc, she pursued her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, from July 2018 to the present, with Dr. Hari Shankar Mahato as her thesis supervisor, achieving a commendable CGPA of 9.4/10 in the coursework. She completed her MSc in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, from 2016 to 2018, where she conducted research on the application of the method of time discretization to Partial Differential Equations under the guidance of Prof. Dhirendra Bahuguna, earning a percentage of 85%. Her academic journey began with a BSc in Mathematics Honours from Hooghly Mohsin College, Hooghly, West Bengal, India, from 2012 to 2015, where she graduated as the college topper and secured fourth position in the university with a percentage of 84.625%.
