He is an Electronics and Communication Engineer with an M.B.A in Marketing and an M.E. in Medical Electronics. He completed his Ph.D. at the College of Engineering, Anna University. Additionally, he holds a Master of Social Work (M.S.W) from IGNOU, New Delhi. With over 31 years of experience, he has amassed expertise in various IT fields, boasting 12 years of design and development experience and 20 years of teaching experience. He has authored more than 30 international journal papers and presented papers at numerous international and national conferences across different engineering colleges. He is also the author of four books, covering topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Digital Electronics, Electromagnetic Fields, and VLSI Design. Furthermore, he has spearheaded the establishment of various IEEE technical student branch chapters, including the Communication Society, Antenna and Propagation Society, Industrial Electronics Society, Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, Broadcast Technology Society, Computer Society, Computational Intelligence Society, and Control Systems Society at his college.

He completed his S.S.L.C from BSE, TN GHSS in Podaturpet in 1984, securing first division with a score of 76. He continued his education with H.S.C from the same institution in 1986, again achieving first division with a score of 78. Moving on to higher education, he pursued B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madras University APEC, Melmaruvathur, graduating in 1990 with a first division and a score of 68. He later obtained an M.B.A. from IGNOU New College in 2001, earning a B-Grade with a first division. Subsequently, he pursued an M.E. from Anna University CEG, Guindy, graduating with a first division and a B-Grade in 2010. He then embarked on a Ph.D. journey at Anna University CEG, Guindy, starting on 19.12.18. He furthered his academic pursuits with an M.S.W from IGNOU Gurunanak Arts and Science College in 2021, achieving a first division with a B-Grade. Additionally, he completed an H.D.I.N.C.C from NIIT, Parrys in 1998, securing first division with a score of 61.

In the ever-evolving landscape of the digital age, social media has emerged as a powerful platform that goes beyond personal connections and cat memes. It has become a breeding ground for an intriguing phenomenon known as “thought leadership”. It represents a strategic approach where individuals and organizations use their online presence to share expertise, insights, and innovative ideas to influence and guide discussions within their respective industries. In my doctoral thesis, I focus on this phenomenon by integrating my work experiences in digital marketing to combine the academic and professional worlds.
