Her academic journey commenced with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Spiru Haret University, Bucharest, Romania, in 2009. She further pursued her passion for languages with a Master’s in The Theory and Practice of Translation from Lucian Blaga University, Sibiu, Romania, in 2006, following which she earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and English from Petru Maior University, Targu-Mures, Romania, in 2000.

She currently serves as a researcher in the LLO working group at the University of the North (UvhN), the Netherlands. Furthermore, she holds a tenured position as a researcher in the Green Economics & Process Optimization Lectorate at NHLStenden, Leeuwarden, where she dedicates 50% of her time to research and the other 50% to teaching and coordination. Her journey at NHLStenden began in 2021 when she assumed the role of Senior Lecturer, designing and coordinating the IHRM Bachelor study program. Over the years, she has played key roles in educational program design, coordination, and teaching across various domains, shaping the academic landscape effectively.
