Since 2018, she has served as the Deputy Dean (Academic, Quality, and Student Affairs) at the College of Graduate Studies. In this role, she assists the Dean in providing leadership within the College, guiding planning, performance, and quality management initiatives. She holds a PhD in Information Systems, which she earned from Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand, in 2014. Her doctoral research focused on developing a Knowledge Management Systems Success Model for Healthcare. Prior to her PhD, she completed a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology in Business (MSc. in IT in Business) from the University of Lincolnshire-Humberside in Hull, United Kingdom, in 1996. She began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Texas State University (formerly known as Southwest Texas State University) in San Marcos, Texas, USA, which she obtained in 1990. With her diverse educational background and expertise in information systems, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her field.

She has held several key roles within the College of Graduate Studies. From 2018 to the present, she serves as the Deputy Dean (Academic, Quality, and Student Affairs), where she assists the Dean in providing leadership and direction for college planning, performance, and quality management. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2018, she was the Head of IT & Teaching and Learning Unit, acting as the primary contact for prospective and current students regarding graduate program and university regulations, as well as admissions. From 2015 to 2017, she served as the Coordinator of the IT Postgraduate Programme, overseeing the management and coordination of IT postgraduate programs, including curriculum design, teaching assignments, timetabling, and procedural enhancements.
