His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Sri Sivani College of Engineering in 2010, where he also secured a first-class with a percentage of 65.24%. Before his undergraduate studies, he successfully completed his Intermediate education in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Sri Chaitanya College in 2006, again obtaining a first-class with a percentage of 82.50%. His academic excellence traces back to his schooling at Little J.K Public School, where he completed his SSC with distinction, securing a first-class with a grade of 78.0% in 2004. He has been an Assistant Professor at Vignan’s Institute of Engineering for Women since September 6, 2018, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise. Prior to his current position, he served as an Assistant Professor at Sanketika Institute of Technology and Management from July 26th, 2017, to September 4th, 2018, where he honed his teaching skills and contributed to the academic community. Before that, he held a similar role at Sri Sivani College of Engineering from October 10th, 2014, to May 31st, 2017, where he played a key role in shaping the educational experience of his students. Additionally, he gained valuable industry experience as a Jr. Software Engineer at EESOFT TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD (DILSUKHNAGAR, HYDERABAD) from September 2010 to May 2012, where he developed his technical skills and understanding of software engineering principles. He has actively participated in various national and international workshops and webinars, showcasing his dedication to staying updated with advancements in his field. Following this, in May 2021, he participated in a National Webinar on Methods and Techniques for Privacy Preserving in Blockchain. Dr Khubaib Ahmed Qureshi received his PhD degree from DHA Suffa University. He worked with Twitter as a research partner. He is affiliated with the Department of Computer Science, IoBM, as an Assistant Professor. He served DHA Suffa University for 10 years and was also the Head of the Data Science Program. He was the Head of the Computer Science Department, HIMS, Hamdard University, Karachi. He has 24 years of comprehensive research and teaching experience, continuing research in the area of computer science named data science, complex networks, and social computing. He has authored several research articles along with chapters in different books.

He holds a Ph.D. in Data Science from DHA Suffa University, where he conducted research on “Automatic Credibility Assessment of Information over Social Networks,” achieving a commendable CGPA of 3.89. Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned an M. Phill in Data Engineering from SZABIST, securing the top position with a remarkable CGPA of 3.75. His academic journey includes a Master’s in Computer Science (M.C.S) specializing in Software Engineering from SZABIST, where he was recognized as a scholarship holder and awarded the gold medal for his outstanding performance, attaining a CGPA of 3.9. He also holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (B.C.S) from Petroman (SALU), where he excelled with a percentage of 76.94%. He is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department, where he teaches a diverse range of subjects to undergraduate students, including Data Science, Social Network Analysis (SNA), Machine Learning (ML), Information Retrieval (IR), Database Management (DB), Operating Systems (OS), Information Technology and Communication (ITC), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Management Information Systems (MIS), Software Engineering (SE), and Programming Fundamentals, among others. Additionally, he serves as a Technology Consultant for Corbit Solutions, a technology solution provider, offering his expertise in various technological domains. Moreover, he holds the role of Technical Advisor at DAW Medical University, where he advises on the Digital Research Library Project. Prior to his current positions, he served as the Head of the IT Department and Associate Professor at Hamdard University’s Hamdard Institute of Management Sciences (HIMS) from December 1999 to August 2013. Adnan Amin earned his M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Peshawar in 2008. He received his MS-CS degree (highest 1st class honors with distinction) and a Ph.D. degree (with Scholastic Honours) in data mining and machine learning from the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2015 and 2023, respectively. In November 2015, he joined IMSciences as a lecturer at the Center for Excellence in Information Technology. He is the lead of IM|DigiSol and the faculty adviser for the Computing and Innovation Society (IMCIS) at IMSciences. Before, he worked as an international consultant for curriculum and academic development at the School of ICT, NIMA Kabul, which was connected to the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland. This was part of a World Bank-funded project for Maxwell Stamp PLC, London (Project Code: P102573). Dr. Adnan’s research and innovation interests are industry-driven and cross-disciplinary. He focuses on developing and commercializing digital solutions and data mining/machine learning research innovations for a variety of industries, such as education, telecommunications, and healthcare. He has completed nearly 8 research projects in collaboration with international universities. He has served as the track chair of the WorldCist’21 workshop (LCBUDAMLT), the session chair of the ICITA’22, and a member of the program committees of numerous conferences including WorldCist, SDIWC, and DATA’23. He has (co) authored 29+ publications, including 16 journal articles, 11 conferences, and 2 book chapters in Springer, and obtained nearly 1000 citations with an h-index score of 14 and an i-index score of 16.

Education:

He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Mining & Machine Learning from the Center for Excellence in IT at the Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar, Pakistan, in March 2023. His research focused on developing an adaptive learning approach for customer churn prediction using naïve Bayes. Prior to his Ph.D., he earned his MS in Computer Science with the highest 1st class honors and distinction from the same institution in May 2015, where he conducted research on a similar topic. He also holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Peshawar, which he completed with a Grade of A+ in March 2008.

He has been serving as a lecturer at the Institute of Management Sciences in Peshawar, Pakistan, since November 2015.
