Souvick Das received the BSc and MSc degrees in computer science from West Bengal State University, India in the year 2012 and 2014 respectively. He is a research associate with the Department of Environmental Science, Informatics, and Statistics, of Ca’ Foscari University, Venice, Italy and is currently working toward the PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Calcutta, India. He has qualified UGC NET-JRF in the year of 2016

He pursued his academic journey in computer science at West Bengal State University, Kolkata, India. Beginning with a Bachelor of Science degree, he completed his undergraduate studies from 2009 to 2012. Following this, he furthered his education with a Master of Science degree, specializing in computer science, from 2012 to 2014, still at West Bengal State University. Building upon his foundation, he embarked on a Ph.D. program in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, in September 2017, where he continues to pursue his research to date.

He worked as a full-time lecturer in Computer Science at Mrinalini Dutta Mahavidyapith in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, from July 15, 2015, to August 31, 2017. Subsequently, he pursued his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Calcutta in Kolkata from September 1, 2017, until April 1, 2024. Following this, he transitioned to the role of Research Associate at the Department of Environmental Science, Informatics, and Statistics at the University Ca’ Foscari Venezia in Mestre, Venice, Italy, starting from September 1, 2022, and continuing until August 31, 2024.
