From 2012 to 2019, he served as a full-time professor-researcher and Project Manager at the Centro de Investigación en Ciencias de Información Geoespacial (CentroGeoCONACYT). He holds a doctoral degree in Urban Planning from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, completed in 2010 with an excellent rating and Cum Laude distinction.

He completed his doctoral studies in Urban Planning at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 2010, achieving an excellent rating and Cum Laude distinction. His specialization focused on metropolitan subjects, including the metropolization of the territory and the logics of location encompassing production, distribution, consumption, and housing. The dissertation committee included notable figures such as Manuel de Solá-Morales I Rubió, Joan Trullen I Thomás, and David Mangin, among others. Additionally, in 2010, he participated in the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy’s Certified Program on GIS Applied to Urban Studies. He also completed a Certificate Program on The Metropolitan Phenomena at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (PUEC-UNAM) in 2005. His educational journey began with a Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad Iberoamericana, A.C., Mexico, in 2003. From 2012 to 2019, he served as a full-time professor-researcher and Project Manager at the Centro de Investigación en Ciencias de Información Geoespacial (CentroGeoCONACYT).
